First Communion

The girls, Emily and Kirsten, made their First Holy Communion on Saturday. The event was held in the newly remodeled church at St. Pius X. Those family members in attendance were: Nancy (of course), Tim, Peggy, Steve, Sarah, Michael, Krist, Kalub, Nikki, Charlie, Michelle, Amanda, and Paul (Johnston). It turned out to be a pretty nice day--at least the sun was shining. It was a little windy.

Following the church event, we met at Nancy's house for a cook-out/potluck. Joanne came over too to help us celebrate. I have added some photos of the event.

I took the photo's and created a scrapbook album for the girls to give to their mom for Mother's Day. The scrapbook pages were created on the computer using Adobe's Photoshop Elements 6.0. Here is a link to view the scrapbook pages:
